amarar, de cobrir amb aigua

nua, de ser-hi

A series of sound essays on the Western language traditionally associated with the sea, its patriarchal-colonial silencing operations and its possible deconstruction. Working with breath, voice and words, Ama ara l’eco nua is a work in progress that takes as its starting point traditional seafaring songs – among them havaneres and valsets mariners – and the possible fragmentation and sedimentation of their language when it passes through the body that sings.
